2023 STATE OF THE MUNICIPALITY ADDRESS; EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT

“Salcedo, angay naton ugupan kay aton nabubuhian” – Salcedo Hymn Excerpt; Sir Eduardo Gonzaga (on his Acknowledgment and Welcome Message)

SALCEDO, EASTERN SAMAR – Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ma. Rochelle G. Mergal and Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Maricris D. Fabillar reported their accomplishments on Executive and Legislative departments respectively, during the State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) on Monday morning, July 10, 2023.

The activity was held at the municipal Civic Center and was attended by department heads, Sangguniang Bayan Members, Barangay Officials, Salcedo Municipal Police Station personnel, Bureau of Fire Protection personnel, Salcedo I and Salcedo II Teachers, Eastern Samar State University-Salcedo Campus representatives, and various Civic Social Organizations, among others.

The MLGOO, Sir Eduardo Gonzaga during his Acknowledgment and Welcome message, remarked that this activity is in accordance of the Local Government Code that mandates local leaders to provide reports of their accomplishments not only to the Sangguniang Bayan but to its constituents as well.

Both of the Legislative and Executive department has committed to work and support each other’s programs for a better future of Salcedo and its generations to come.
