Brgy Balud is an interior barangay of Salcedo facing the Leyte Gulf & located 1.44 kilometer north of the town proper of Salcedo 15.5 kilometers from the town of Guiuan 64.3 kilometers south east of Borongan City the Capital City. Population: 551. Number of Households: 112. Neighbouring Barangays: Buabua, Bagtong, Butig.
