Geographic Location and Population
Caridad is an interior barangay of Salcedo facing Matarinao Bay, 12 kilometers west of the town proper of Salcedo, 28 kilometers from the town proper of Guiuan, and 60 kilometers sout east of Borongan City, the capital of the Province of Eastern Samar. It is bounded on the east by Barangay Seguinon, on the west by Barangay Naga of the municipality of Quinapondan, on the north by Barangay Matarinao Bay and on the south by Barangay Casilion. Population: 491. Number of Households: 106. Neighbouring Barangays: Casilion, Seguinon.
