The Eastern Samar State University launched an enrolment caravan at the Municipal Covered Court last August 27 for college students planning to enroll for the Academic Year 2020-2021.
The enrolment was held pursuant to the CHED mandated class opening on August 27, 2020, despite possibilities that President Duterte will defer holding classes due to the COVID pandemic.
The University will adopt the modular form of learning upon class commencement, wherein students will be given learning materials that may be accomplished at home.
Under the said mode of learning, students will only be required to go to the campus on school orientations, on midterm and finals examinations, and for submission of accomplished modules.
The frequency of submission of accomplished modules is yet to be determined.
The University targets a 10% increase in this year’s student enrolment amidst the pandemic with returning residents planning to transfer to the local University for being affected by the situation in the urban areas.
