The Municipality of Salcedo proudly celebrated the Grand Opening of the Salcedo Boulevard on August 23, 2025, a new seaside tourist attraction that promises both relaxation and a taste of local culture.
The event highlighted the unveiling of the scenic Salcedo Boulevard, where visitors can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze, captivating views, and a wide variety of food stalls offering local delicacies.
Despite the rain that threatened to dampen the festivities, the celebration carried on — and the people of Salcedo turned out in high spirits to enjoy the lively atmosphere.
The opening was graced by the presence of Municipal Mayor Melchor L. Mergal, SBM Hon. Cesar Cagascas, Jr., Punong Barangays Ruel Berongoy and Jerry Servano, Municipal Tourism Officer Nestor N. Mergal. Their participation marked the importance of the event as a milestone for Salcedo’s tourism and community development.
