The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Salcedo held its first Executive Meeting for the year with all department and office heads on January 6, 2026, at the Conference Room of the LGU–Salcedo Municipal Hall. The meeting was presided over by Municipal Mayor Atty. Melchor L. Mergal.
The meeting underscored the key programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) lined up for implementation throughout the year, ensuring that all offices are aligned with the administration’s priorities and development agenda. Mayor Mergal emphasized the importance of coordination, accountability, and effective service delivery in achieving the municipality’s goals.
In addition to planning and policy directions, the executive meeting also served as a venue for discussing internal administrative matters, including employee concerns, with particular attention given to the status and welfare of job order personnel. The discussions highlighted the LGU’s commitment to addressing workforce concerns while maintaining efficient and responsive public service.
